Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in my first half marathon - the Nike Run to the Beat event on 28th October - to raise funds for the British Tinnitus Association.  Tinnitus is a condition whereby sufferers hear a constant ringing in their ears which is can be extremely distressing.  There is no known cure but research has resulted in various techniques and equipment that can provide relief for the many people who suffer from it.  The BTA is the UK's only charity dedicated to supporting those with tinnitus and their families.

Tinnitus is a condition close to my heart as my teenage daughter Liz suffers from it and my father has suffered from it it for much of his life. I earnestly hope that research comes up with a cure for this horrible condition.
