Plumpy Nut Challenge · 13 March 2013

When disaster strikes, Merlin's medical experts are there, doing whatever it takes to save lives. And when the cameras have moved on, we stay. Taking communities from emergency to recovery, we work together to revive health services in some of the world's toughest places.

What's my story? No Story, really...

This is an appeal to your generosity to help us raise money for starving children in east Africa....

Want more detail (i.e. the bla bla )? Alright, here you go...

Children in AFRICA suffer, starve and die.... by the thousands...every single day... while our kids (mine included) have the previlige of picking food and what they like and what they don't!!

So, it goes like this... Plumpy'Nut was developed to provide a healthy, sufficient, nutrient and most importantly economically viable on a larger scale (cheap is the word) food source to keep the lil dudes alive until their nations could provide for them (come on, we all know it's impossible, given the way things work in our modern world).

OK, so what am I doing? Nothing really (again), I get to steal a day's supply of Plumpy'Nut and eat nothing but it for one whole day and the good folks at Merlin will use your generous donations to feed (rather keep alivechildren in East Africa

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying these pennies suffice. This is merely a temporary act to minimise the damage until our race - one day - learn how to integrate and co-exist (no comment as you might've already guessed my take on our species)

Now, cynicism aside, see if you might be interested to contribute to the cause. And remember, there's nothing called "too little" or "insignificant", even if you pass the page to a friend, relative, colleague who might be interested to donate or even pass the page to someone (s)he knows and so on :-)

"What goes around..Comes around!"

Last but not least, allow me to quote "You Know Who" and remind you that "Every Little Helps"....

Now, I need to go to enjoy my juicy burger, wait..I think I've seen this burger somewhere... umm, oh yeah, Cheltenham :-(   *too soon? *

And of course...THANK YOU VERY MUCH for checking my page :-)
