A third of us will be touched by cancer in our lifetime, and every hour in the UK a man dies of prostate cancer.  The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) is an academic working body with more than 800 scientists across Europe and the US, and has taken more drugs into clinical trials in the last decade than any other organisation in the world.

This year OPI will again be joining The Climb Of Life – supported by Office Friendly, VOW and Newell Rubbermaid – to take part in “The One Million Pound Hi Mountain Challenge” on 9 November. The event sees 12 teams climb the UK's highest Lakeland Mountains during freezing winter conditions to raise money for the ICR.

25 Years of charity fundraising

Organised by Graeme Chapman, whose lifelong career spans the UK OP industry , for the 25th year (and the 6th year for this excellent international cause), the money we raise will help the ICR's world-leading scientists work tirelessly to continue to make progress in the ongoing fight against cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – we raise more, while saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now to sponsor the brave volunteers from OPI in The Climb of Life 2012!
