The Oxford Breast Imaging Centre (OBIC) provides a high quality digital breast screening service, under the direction of the NHS Breast Screening Programme, for women aged 47 and over.

The objective is to detect breast cancer in its early stage and thereby reduce the overall mortality from this disease.

Thanks to donations we have recently funded a digital biopsy scanner enabling the Centre to become fully digital.  The Unit wants to continue to offer the highest quality imaging service and your donation will help us buy the latest, most effective equipment.
