<p><a href="http://www.sickchildrenstrust.org/"><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans; font-size: x-small;">The Sick Children’s Trust</span></a><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"> (SCT) is </span><span style="font-size: x-small;">ORIP</span><span style="font-size: x-small;">’s nominated Charity of the Year for 2011. We want to raise enough money to fund a room in one of the SCT’s homes. Please help us reach our goal!<br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">ORIP</span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> is part of Barclays Group Centre, working within the Compliance area. To support Barclays’ strong commitment to sustainability, we want to get involved in our local community and see how we can make a difference. We’ve chosen to support the SCT this year as we feel it is a very worthwhile cause and we hope you agree.<br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;">The SCT's mission is to provide high quality ‘Home from Home’ accommodation for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment for serious illness. Today, the charity has seven ‘Home from Homes’ at major paediatric hospitals around the country, each providing clean comfortable accommodation for families with seriously ill children. <br /><br />E</span></span><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">very £25 raised (or saved on their behalf) pays for a family to stay in one of their houses for a night, and <strong>£9,000 would fund one room for a year</strong>, which would allow approximately 36 families to stay near their sick child.</span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> <br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;">For every £ raised, Barclays will match that so your money will go even further than you think - just imagine what your donation could mean to one of the families. <br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-family: Barclays Sans;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
