Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dear Guys

In order to mark my upcoming 50th year and more importantly my Mother's 100th marathon, myself and a bunch of overweight ex sportsmen will be treading the streets of Dublin in October 2010 for my first and probably last marathon.

The training schedule will be both punishing and lonely and I will be getting very familiar over the next 5 months with the Epsom Downs area.

Anybody willing to get me out of the armchair for a run at anytime please contact me on 07734 715 378.

The rumour that I am actually visiting 10 Dublin pubs on Monday the 25th of October is simply not quite true.

I am bidding to complete the run within 5 hours and hopefully not shame my Mother who will finish at the age of 74 in about 4 hours 30. My Dad at the same age and running his 28th Marathon will be with us along with my friends David Davies and the mighty Hugh Bellamy.

The Charity O2E is an established orgnisation (see the Info) which raises money for terminally ill children. I can quite simply think of no better reason to run in order to help improve the quality of their short lives on this earth

Thanks for visiting the site

Fin
