After casually talking about it for years, us guys at Off The Rails (Alex Oldale, Dave Binney & Richard Taylor) have decided to put our balls to the test and jump out of a plane at 15000ft. I’m sure many people have thought about the idea before, as we have too, but never actually got round to putting their money where their mouth is. Well we think, enough of this idle chit chat; it’s about time we put our words into action and get on with it. In order to bring true value to this insanity we intend to donate the money raised by this jump to Cancer Research UK. I’m sure you will all agree this is a truly worthy charity tackling an issue that unfortunately has affected many lives and families in the past and will continue to do so in the future. So please join us in raising as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause and help us justify our 15000ft madness. Please bare in mind that 15000ft is the highest legal sky dive limit in the UK and we will be free falling for 1 minute. This jump is due to take place at the end of October; and don’t worry, it will all be filmed and uploaded to the otr web site for every one to see our terrified, wind swept faces.
