We will form strong partnerships, in the UK and Africa, and through the ‘power of learning’ we will enable and empower people to step forward, lead and make a difference; both in their lives and for their global friends. ‘</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;amp;">We are currently raising money for a project in Gourcy, a town in the north of Burkina Faso. The project will design, improve and expand the school infrastruture, facilities and curriculum of Bethel secondary school; creating a child friendly learning environment for 1100 children. The school will have 8 classrooms (including flexible learning spaces), new well, library, science laboratory and equipment, food kiosk, first aid clinic, additional toilets, staff room, playground, sports pitch, educational garden and improvements to the existing classrooms and grounds. These teachers will all be fully qualified by AEAD, our amazing partner in Burkina Faso. Last year, one of the AEAD schools came first out of 667 other schools, so we absolutely have the right partner. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;amp;">For every child we educate we create an opportunity for a whole family to be lifted out of poverty. We also start the “virtual development cycle” improving all aspects of life, including health, mortality, environmental sustainability and equality – to name a few.</span></p>
