On September 14th, Old Bedians RUFC will be packing away their traditional blue and white and donning our one-off pink jerseys for our Cancer Charity Match.This is an important issue as, sadlly, most of us have experienced the effects of this illness; either directly or through our beloved family and friends.

Old Bedians is a small rugby club packed with great mates who turn up regularly, rain, hail, snow and occasionally shine to throw themselves around to varying degrees of success. Recently, some of our friends have suffered the pain of losing those closest to them. For all of us at the club, as we are so close, we have all suffered this loss together and we want to do something about it. 

The Charity Game Vs Carnforth is Old Bedians doing "our bit" to raise money for the good people at The Christie Hospital to use towards their excellent work in cancer research. Hopefully "our bit" can go a long way to help in the treatment of this disease.
 
We have secured some funding for the event and are continuing to knock on as many doors as we can. We will be raising money through various means - players and spectators game jerseys, food and drink sales, a variety of raffles on the day along with personal and corporate donations. It's the latter that we are appealing for your help now. Please if you could donate anything we would be very appreciative.
