Barretstown helps rebuild lives affected by childhood cancer & serious illness. Children come to Barretstown to take part in our unique programmes, designed to help them recover from the emotional trauma of serious illness. They leave stronger, more independent & with a renewed sense of confidence.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page!

I will be running the half marathon in Leeds on May 12th! Hopefully I will actually complete it as training has not been going very well with all the snow!

If you choose to donate, and hopefully you will, your money is going to an incredible charity. Barretstown is an activity camp organised to help rebuild the lives of children who are suffering with serious illnesses such as cancer and serious blood diseases. The children and their families travel from around the world to Barretstown, in Ireland, where they can forget their illness, have fun and rebuild their confidence and self-esteem.

Your money will go towards helping bring a family together, giving children who have been through a lot already a chance to enjoy their childhood and a chance to make some great family memories
