We’ve all been touched by cancer.  Three of my uncles have died, my younger sister is currently in treatment and even my dear Andy is a survivor.  Some stories have happy endings and some do not.  I am particularly touched by the story of a woman named Lynne.  Her ending has yet to be written and I am asking for your help.

Lynne had a mastectomy, but the cancer returned in October 2011.  Her health has been further compromised by a rare allergic reaction to mercury and amalgam, so the treatment she requires must be personally tailored – treatment the NHS will not provide. She is now in a race against time, not only to get treatment for
herself, but also to make these cutting edge treatments available to everyone in the UK.  Lynne is a grantee from “Yes to Life”, a non-profit that pays for these alternative treatments.  [For more information on Lynne please see:

I, and two other amazing women, will be skydiving in September in honour of Lynne.  Yes, skydiving!  But, the actual jump is the least of my challenges.  First, and most important, I’m seeking to raise £2000 for Yes to Life and Lynne.  Second, I must loose 3 stone (42 pounds) in the next 4 months in order to jump.  I am committed to do this not only for Lynne, but also for my health and my family.  Your generous support will be motivation to me and medicine to Lynne.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
