Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I used to be active, loved sports and PE at school and would spend as much of my free time playing football and all kinds of sports as possible.
Now I am 'all grown-up' I find that I have lost some of that active lifestyle I had as a kid. I think many of us have.
I am no longer the fittest person alive and, although as a child and teenager I used to ride my bike everyday and everywhere, I haven't ridden a bike for a long, long time. The last time I did I was shocked at just how much it made me sore and I couldn't walk right for a few hours!
So the London to Brighton Bike Ride represents a real challenge for me. I hope you will support me, if for no other reason than to take pleasure at the thought of me breathing from the wrong end and crying (big manly tears) as I work through the full 54 mile ride.
Then, as if that's not enough, I am taking part in the London to Brighton Trek- walking the 60 mile route in 30 hours, starting Saturday and finishing Sunday late morning.
We all know people who have been stricken with heart problems in their life. The great work of the BHF seeks to ensure we won't know anyone in the future that suffer the same.
