The Imbumba Foundation (UK) is the UK arm of The Imbumba Foundation. Its aim is to bring about social change within South Africa, through providing investment and infrastructure to poor rural communities and empowering and mentoring those who want to create better opportunities.

Story

Hi, my name Oliver Burman and I am seventeen years old and in Sixth Form at school. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been invited by Richard Mabaso, CEO of Imbumba Foundation South Africa, Sello Hatang, CEO of The Nelson Mandela Foundation and Sibusiso Vilane, Chief Scout of South Africa and first black South African to climb Everest and walk to the North and South Pole, to take part in a celebrity climb of Kilimanjaro for Mandela Day on 18th July 2015. Along with 27 top South African business people and celebrities the Trek aims to raise £3 million to help 270, 000 girls across South Africa stay in school by providing sanitary towels and health support.
