Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cameroon Catalyst is an international development charity which brings together students, engineers and specialists who lend their expertise to help facilitate sustainable development in Cameroon.

As an entirely voluntary led charity, students at Southampton University undertake regular fundraising challenges to promote the charity and enable the amazing work to continue, helping to drive development towards a sustainable future in rural Cameroonian communities.

For 2015/16 we are focusing on water and sanitation. This year we have begun mapping out water levels in two villages, with the aim to provide an information  pack to locals about how and where to dig wells. We will also be constructing a spring protection system, which will provide clean water for 350 people.

By completing the 3 Peaks Challenge we hope to raise awareness of the issue and raise money for our cause.
