Having dropped out of the London Marathon 2011 due to injury, I'm now running the London Marathon in 2012, raising money for Compton Hospice, a charity which genuinely means a great deal to me. Compton Hospice helps care for patients of all ages suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. It does so by providing invaluable pain control, symptom relief, counselling and even support to its patients' carers and all completely free of charge to its patients.
The hospice can only keep running each year through the public's donations as 70% of its running costs must be raised through fundraising initiatives. Please donate as much or as little as you can (even if just the odd pound or two, as it really does make a huge difference).
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
