Dallaglio Cycle Slam · 12 February 2010 ·

Sport Relief brings the nation together to get active and raise life changing amounts of money through the power of sport. Sport Relief is an initiative of Comic Relief registered charity 326568 (England/Wales); SC039730 (Scotland)

Story

In early March, I will joining rugby legend and World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio on his 2800km bike ride across Europe, during which he will visit all of the venues for the 2010 Six Nations (www.dallagliocycleslam.com). I will be riding the final 550km starting in Rosslare in the south-east of Ireland, through Dublin and Belfast and then on into Scotland, ending the ride in Edinburgh.

We are aiming to raise over £1million for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio foundation (which in turn will donate to Cancer Research, Help For Heroes, Leukaemia Research. The  BBC and Sport Relief have both agreed to feature the Challenge from start to finish.

I have been set a target of raising £3000 and any contributions, large or small (large please), are much needed and hugely appreciated.

As I’m riding in to wind, rain and snow and getting blisters where I shouldn’t have blisters, your support will mean a great deal.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation. So please dig deep and donate now.
