I am running the Abersoch Half Marathon in September to raise money for a relatively small and new charity but one that does immeasurable good - Papyrus. Recent events resulted in a good friend of mine tragically losing his beautiful 13 year old daughter. This is something that quite frankly no parent should have to go through, let alone young people themselves.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people – male and female – under 35 in the UK. In 2015, 1,659 young people took their own lives. That equates to over four per day. Every year many thousands more attempt or contemplate suicide, harm themselves or suffer alone, afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.

Please spare as little or as much as you can to this fantastic charity and I in return will make a fool of myself running a distance way beyond anything I have done in my meagre 23 year existence.
