Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Hello!

I'll be running the Wilmslow Half Marathon for Spinal Research in March, and i'd love your support! The charity is very important to a good friend of mine whose father has a spinal injury, and this is when I discovered all the important work that Spinal Research do. Sadly, they don't have the funding or recognition that they deserve, despite all the work they do to raise awareness and the critical research they do.

You never think a spinal injury could happen to you, but it has happened to many people throughout the UK and Spinal Research do important research with the aim to improve the lifes of many in the future.

On that note, I would like to thankyou for any donation and hope everyone has a great year! x
