My story

 

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.


Well I started gently with a 5k but here's the next one I promised ....

This time Adam is my support act and impetus to keep going, alongside my personal trainer who has even more to answer for this time, and Fee who ensured I finished the 5km.

So, yet again all we need is for you to help us raise some money to make all my efforts worthwhile and to distract me from the further battering my knees are taking! 

You can think of us while we climb the rugged hills of Bracknell Forest in the seering heat that will be our companion tomorrow evening - and all I hope is that someone is waiting at the end with a very large Pimms or giant Cornetto!

NurseAid supports serving or retired nurses who are in financial difficulty or have fallen on hard times. They unquestionably look after us when needed and having been in hopsital twice in the last 2 years, and working with a fantastic team of nurses on a daily basis, we wanted to raise awareness of this charity and the great job that they do.
