I am running the Great North Run in September of this year alongside my dear friend Chris Burn, in memory of his wonderful mum Jane Burn, who sadly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at the end of 2017.

My time spent with Jane was limited, but in that time she showed me immense kindness and generosity, and always welcomed me in to her home with open arms. I know that her absence is sorely felt by her son Chris, and husband Mark, and I would like to do all that I can to support them, whilst raising money and awareness for the charity who is working tirelessly to prevent such tragic losses of loved ones to pancreatic cancer.
