<p><strong><span style="color: #339966;">I'm taking part in the Cancer Research UK race for life with a few of my friends and I am going to raise as much money as possible for my chosen charity Mesothelioma UK in memory of my Grandad.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #339966;">I won't be all doom and gloom about my reasons for taking part in the race but I will say that until you loose somebody you do not realise the impact it has on yours and your family's lives. My Grandad was the most sweetest, caring, intelligent and bravest person I know and will ever know. When you see someone suffering and not complain once it put things into perspective so I can't complain about exercising now and not eating choccy in prep for this race!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #339966;">I lost my Granddad last year to the illness and that is what has inspired me to race for him and make him as proud as possible. Mesothelioma UK rely totally on donations made by peope like you and that is why every donation, no matter how big or small, makes such a difference. They are a lesser known charity as is this type of Cancer and that's what drives me further to raise as much as possible. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #339966;">Mesothelioma cancer is caused in 9/10 cases by exposure to asbestos which can lay dormant within the body for 40+ years without going recognised.</span></strong></p>
