Based in Andover, the Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides palliative and end of life specialist care to people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Outstanding care is given wherever it is needed, this can be within the inpatient unit, the day care facility or the patient’s home.

Story

We've just spent two weeks eating, drinking and sunbathing in Spain - name a better time to run a 10k.

But it'll be worth it is we can do our bit to raise money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, who did a fantastic job of supporting one of our best friends, Jacob, and his mum, Jo, when they recently lost their dad/ husband  Chris after a long battle with cancer.  Chris was an amazing man who we were lucky to have known so we all wanted to run this race in his memory, despite us normally being found in the pub. If we can help others to feel as cared for as the Corner's, then every step is worth it.

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides respite and palliative care to adults suffering from life-limiting illness who live in Andover and its surrounding villages or who have a connection with the area, together with comfort and support for their families, friends and carers.
