Changing Lives supports over 14,000 people each year facing the challenges of homelessness, recognising the complexities that often go beyond housing alone. We know that everyone’s journey is different and that, with the right support, anyone can make positive change for good.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing a 40km sponsored walk as part of The Cyrenians 40th Anniversary celebrations. This is, admittedly a strange way to celebrate because it is some years since I have walked more than a few miles in any one day and instead of walking the Great Wall of China, trecking to Machu Picchu or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro we will be walking through the urban sprawl of north Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle and North Tyneside. Our plan is to visit all of The Cyrenians 30 projects and in doing so raise money for a worthwhile charity that helps some of the most excluded and disadvantaged people in our society.

JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to The Cyrenians and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. If you require a ten point fact sheet on why this is going to be a challenge for for me to complete, I'm happy to provide it - I'm not the superfit hero you think I am!
