I am participating in an event called Tough Mudder on 4th May, a 12 mile obstacle course through mud, fire, ice and electric shocks, designed by the special forces.  It sounds pretty hellish but it's to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with this awful disease at the end of 2011 and sadly died on 23rd February 2013 at the age of just 34.

There are 25 of us who have entered a team in Tough Mudder to remember and honour our friend Douglas Tait and to hopefully help others.
