Lake District Walk · 9 June 2016

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Over 3 days we will be climbing 2 of the highest mountains in England and will walk about 32 miles carrying very heavy rucksacks with tents, food, water, clothes, sleeping bags etc. We will be camping in wild campsites up amongst the mountains.  It is going to be a huge challenge, but hopefully the beautiful scenery of the Lake District will inspire us, and obviously the main objective of raising as much money as possible for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is one of the top paediatric research hospitals in the world, treating children with very complex and often life-threatening conditions.  Throughout its long history GOSH has always relied on public support fir redevelopment, research, medical equipment and accommodation.  This is a wonderful cause; with everyone's help we can make a real difference for the sick children of GOSH and their families.

Thank you very much for your support.
