Over the bank holiday weekend of 28th - 30th May I will be taking part in the "S2S" bike ride - Cycling from Kelso on the Scotish Border to Shildon in County Durham, covering 180 miles through the Northumberland countryside and coast.
I am cycling in aid of The Education Centre for Children with Down Syndrome - a charity set up in 2006 to improve the lives of Children with Down Syndrome and aid early education in their up bringing. I have seen the good work that they do first hand with Prentice Belton, a 6 year old boy who has had a lot of happy times with the charity.
A huge amount of hard work goes into this charity to raise further money to expand the services that they already offer. You can check out the charity on the following link:
