Thank you for visiting! Ollie's Heroes are fundraising for Operation Ollie (through Tree of Hope)
In September 2014 a group of family and friends ("Ollie's Heroes") will be cycling 350 miles from Land's End to Lichfield. We're fundraising for Tree of Hope, who are helping Ollie. We'd like to raise as much as possible to help pay for the surgery he needs to help him walk and improve his life.

About Operation Ollie
Ollie Dodds is a happy, loving, 3 year old boy, full of life and energy. He was born 7 weeks premature and when he was 18 months old he was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. His illness affects all of his limbs and means he cannot walk or play with his little brother Noah and big sister Imogen. It also causes him chronic pain and discomfort due to the tension he experiences in his spine.
A procedure called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy could help Ollie reduce this pain and discomfort, and hopefully go a long way towards helping him walk. Unfortunately, it's not available on the NHS. Ollie's best chance of having this specialist treatment is at the world leading specialist unit at the St Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri, US.
We are trying to raise £50,000 to pay for Ollie's procedure, follow up physiotherapy and travel costs.
