(Whilst I wholehearted support 'Decembeard'), this year I want to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital as my nephew Fergus is currently undergoing treatment there for a very aggressive and rare form of brain tumour. The care and dedication of the hospital staff is second to none and Fergus is being very well looked after and incredibly brave. 

Times of adversity really do bring out the best in people and show how amazing us human beings can be. The resolve and positivity my brother Barney and sister-in-law Lou have found is truly inspiring. 

Growing a beard is not new and will not change the world on it's own, but I want to do whatever I can to support them, let them know that we are here for them and to give them hope.
