Keswick Mountain Rescue Team comprises 45 members, all unpaid volunteers, who are available at all times of the day and night in any weather, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress and lost on the mountains of the northern Lake District. Currently, we attend about 136 rescues a year.

Story

Right people, I have decided to try and raise some money for Keswick Mountain Rescue, a charity that I'm sure many of you know is very close to the hearts of my family and is a great cause, considering the work they do.

So what am I going to be doing to raise this money? Well, on the 23rd december, exactly 8 years after getting them, I am going to CUT OFF MY DREADS! Yep thats right and no, this isnt a frape! A pretty big step as you can imagine, but worth it to help out something so worthwhile. Think, it could be yourself, a family member or a friend that needs their help in the future. You can read about them here http://www.keswickmrt.org.uk/about_us.htm

Im not asking you to donate loads, but anything you can spare would be awesome, it really is going to a worthy cause!
Please donate here, and share it around!
