Story

Dear all,

Please bow in appreciation for the following finely-tuned, honed, lithe and sinewy Olswang athletes that are sure to DOMINATE the podium come 11 July, when the ASICS British 10km kicks off:

    Simon "drop and give me 20, you're in the" Armitage;

    David "no time to be sleeping in a" Bunker;

    Jacob "bears can run up to 40 mph" Gilkes;

    Daniel "Gebrselassie" Jacob;

    Nick "Lunchbox" Lindsay;

    Duncan "salad for me please, none of this fatty burger malarkey from Ronald" McDonald;

    Scott "Lomu" Margetts;

    James "it's scientific fact that wearing an iPod makes you 20% quicker" Norton;

    Loren "quicker than a whippet" Ravenscroft;

    Madeleine "Radcliffe" Richards;

    Mark "Hum Dinger" Singer;

    James "Iwan" Thomas Ralph; and

    Hugo "round in thirty minutes or less" Webb.

This is a day of double celebrations:

i) it's World Cup final day (hooray!), so victory for England (presumably); and

ii) the heroic individuals above will be running to champion those wonderful souls at the Whitechapel Mission.

So dig deep, cheer loudly, and watch the Olswang contingent reign supreme!

Many thanks,

The Olswang Warriors
