I'm running both for the memory of my Dad, and for the wonderful Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust.  My Dad, as many of you will know was a great lover of running. He had incredible drive and determination which served him well in life, running and in fighting cancer.

I am asking all my friends and family to support the Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust through my running this half marathon.  This is a local charilty, the aim is to provide hospice services and care to children in the Berkshire area.  Their web site is http://www.adcct.com/.
