The Capella Foundation has been born to help increase awareness of medical complications during pregnancy, and to directly fund pioneering medical research projects into advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment. 

During the weekend of 8th / 9th September 2018, as part of the Capella #wolfpack I will be taking on the #3Peaks challenge.

The challenge will see the #wolfpack scale the highest peaks in Scotland ( Ben Nevis - 1345m ), England ( Scafell Peak - 978m ) and Wales (Snowden - 1085m) in a 24hr target.

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km), and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft)

All money raised goes directly to the 'Twinkle Capella Research Fund'; In partnership with St Michael's Hospital, Bristol University and Oxford University, the Capella Foundation directly funds pioneering medical research projects.

As a small foundation based in Bristol, 100% of our fundraising goes directly to this incredibly important cause, to enable vital research to be undertaken in order to advance knowledge and understanding of methods of diagnosis and treatment of medical complications during pregnancy.
