I have seen first hand the impact that the steroids and immunosuppressant treatment has had. Rea finds chiropractic helps to alleviate some of the these side-effects. Rea is a local resident and has set up a charity to support people with this disease.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial; color: #60514a;"></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 17.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial; color: #0e0e0e;">Birdshot Uveitis is a chronic, auto-immune, sight threatening form of posterior uveitis and currently there is no known cure. &nbsp;It can only be treated with toxic medication.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial; color: #60514a;"></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 17.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial; color: #0e0e0e;">Research may help with understanding the disease, finding the cause and preventing future generations from getting.
