I'm running this race because I hope to make a difference in the battle against cancer.  I love running and take part in the cross country club at school, but I'm not quite a professional!  I'll be running this in good spirit hoping to make the most of the occasion and have a laugh with my friends all for a great cause.  

Someone gets diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes in the UK, yet only half of people that get cancer go on to live for 10 years or more.  What's more important still is that 36% of all cancers are preventable.  This is such an important cause so I'd be very grateful if you'd sponsor me.
