Hello Everybody,

Despite not owning a bike and having not been on one for many years, I am joining a group of RS Components employees to cycle 46 miles on June 14th 2019, in aid of Children with Cancer.

Colleagues from across the UK will cover 1100 miles, criss-crossing the UK while visiting RS branches, starting in Glasgow and finishing in Bristol.

My 46 mile stint will take me from our Head Office in Corby to the Nuneaton distribution centre. It's going to be a challenge, not only for me to stay on my bike and reach the finish line, but also for the motorists who will be dazzled by my athletic physique as I sport an eye-catching lycra two-piece :-)

But as tough as the cycle ride may be, it's nothing compared to what children and their families go through when facing cancer. RS Components' Tour de Branch challenge has a fundraising target of £250,000 for Children with Cancer charity, with my personal target set at £500.

So please, dig deep, and no matter what you can afford know that it's very much appreciated and going to a good cause.
