Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our charity office staff are entering the spirit of the Olympics by taking part in the nation Olympic legacy iniative called the 2012 Challenge.
We are walking 201.2km in one day - from Swanage to Hengistbury Head, in Dorset.
Our team is made up of:
Mark Powell (CEO), Paul Barnard (Retired CEO), Charlotte Curtis (Head of Business Resources), Mark Freer (Finance Manager), Helen Alexander (Fundraising Manager), Steph Vaughn (Trainer), Andy Harrop (Director) and Hugh Felstead (Graduate Trainee).
All of the money raised will be going to Diverse Abilities Plus, a charity which we are all incredibly passionate about as it provides such vital support for hundreds of children and adults in Dorset with physical and/or learning disabilities, and their families.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. We're going to need all the support we can get to complete this walk in one day!

P.S. We originally planned on doing the Gold Challenge, which is another Olympic Legacy event created by the same organisation. However, complications with accessing the various sports led to our decision to undertake the 2012 Challenge instead. However, various team members have already undertaken different sports, from 10km runs to rowing and wheelchair basketball. So thanks to everyone who sponsored these activities too. We're just increasing the challenge and distance even more now!
