Shelterbox Dartmoor Challenge · 18 September 2010

ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The four of us are pushing our physical limits to take a Shelterbox 30 miles across Dartmoor in two days. It's not as easy as it sounds! These are bulky and weigh approximately 50 kilos.

We would really like your support on this so please donate anything you can. Each box costs £490 pounds and can potentially save ten lives.

Shelterbox really need our help now as they are currently deployed in Haiti and Chile following the earthquakes there. The are also in many other places across the globe.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
