Andean Volcanoes Challenge · 1 March 2020

We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. We’re here to make sure children and young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. Join our fight.

Story

In March 2020, I will be joining 99 HSBC colleagues to take on the Mount Cotopaxi challenge in Ecuador. Over 5 days, we will be hiking 100km to an altitude of 4,300m. We are taking on this extreme physical and mental challenge to raise USD 300,000 as a group for mental health charities. I am sponsoring my own expenses and any donations will go directly to the charity

I am trekking 100km for Young Minds ( https://youngminds.org.uk) charity supporting young children struggling with mental health. I have chosen YoungMinds as I believe that by helping children in mental distress, we can help create a better world.
Young Minds’ vision is: “We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. We’re here to make sure they get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties.”

I am proud to be trekking in support of such a great cause and hope you will be
supporting us on this incredible and humbling experience.

Thank you!
