I will be taking part in the British 10k Run on July 8th this year. Its a special occasion to be running in central London as it is the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Year. 

 

I am supporting Cass Business School's Class Gift initiative and helping current MSc Students realise their goal of raising £3k for a student scholarship for the next academic year. As an Alumnus I want to support a talented studnet to study at this reputable institution, by easing some of the financial worries that they may have. My target is to raise £500 from the run. 

 

Class Gift is a collective donation raised by students and alumni year-groups to support a project of their choice within Cass. This is very close to my heart since I was one of the founding members of the student fundraising activities at Cass last year and was instrumental in launching the first ever student-led scholarship. 

 

Last year Cheng Hua was awarded a scholarship and here is what she had to say;

 

"Receiving the Class Gift Scholarship is a tremendous honour. I have benefitted from the help of other sudents who believe in making a difference. Class Giving promotes a tradition of investing in future students and inspires a culture of giving back."
