Story

Thanks for visiting P&A's Just Giving page.

Every year we pick a charity to raise money for, and this year we have chosen Hope House. They're an incredible local charity who support families with terminally ill children.

11 of us took part in the gruelling run, the majority of us had never entered a run before and we couldn't have picked a more testing course, with the aim to raise at least £3,000. It's an ambitious target, but Hope House needs £3.5 million a year to run, and they rely entirely on donations.

The run took its toll with Mark Stewart ending up in an ambulance when his knee gave in. The P&A mascot Panda (aka John Vaughan)and the bamboo bush (aka Dave Morgan) drew a lot of attention from the crowds and were cheered across the line when finishing last in 3hrs 19mins 45 secs. The finishing times for the rest of us were:

Andrew Baker 1hr 35mins 49secs

Dave Edwards 2hr 05mins 09secs

Steve Morgan 2hr 10mins 40secs

Nia Morgan 2hr 10mins 41secs

Alyn Carrahar 2hr 17mins 16secs

Helen Barsby 2hr 26mins 16secs

Jane Morgan 2hr 29mins 05secs

Please give whatever you can. Thanks for your help.

We have received numerous off-line donations from members of staff, suppliers and customers. Thankyou all very much. It makes the run all the more important to us knowing we've got all your support. A big thank you to Continental Wood Products for their very kind off-line donation of £200. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
