Story
Thanks for being a "Parcher".
Parch is a campaign aimed at supporters offering to cut back, or abstain from drinking alcohol (or fizzy drinks for kids) during the month of March, and donating what you would have spent on the cost of a bottle or two of wine.
There are loads of health and financial benefits for individual “Parchers”, but most importantly, you will be raising vital funds to enable the Andrew Grene Foundation (AGF) to supply fresh drinking water to the students at the Andrew Grene High School in Cite Soliel, Haiti, and to the women enrolled on our numeracy and literacy program at our microfinance branch in Aquin (south of the island).
You can choose how to participate and all details are on our website www.parch.co but in summary you can either:
Give up for the whole of March and ask friends/family/colleagues to sponsor you (download the forms from the website)
Be a "light and fruity" donor, and give £5.00 - which will provide water for a child for 55 days
Be a "rich and elegant" donor and give £10.00 - which will hydrate 111 children for a day
Be a "full bodied" donor and give £25.00 - which will provide water for the whole of the school for a day
It costs just 3p to supply a bag of fresh drinking water to our projects in Haiti, and 100% of these donations go directly to this campaign.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you.
