Pacific Crest Trail · 20 April 2018

We exist to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society. We believe that home is everything.

Story

Em and I are attempting to through hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Whilst this will be an amazing experience it is also an extremely long way to walk (2659 miles to be precise), and there is a high probability of me being:

A) Eaten by a bear

B) Bitten by a rattle snake

C) Abducted whilst hitch hiking

D) Falling off a mountain

E) Dying of dehydration in the desert

F) Blister on foot induced death

G) Falling off a mountain (again)

And

H) (and most likely) killed by my girlfriend.

It would be great to try and raise a bit of dough for a good cause. Whilst I joke that I am now homeless, there are a lot of people a lot less fortunate who actually have to live on the street. It's ridiculous that in 2018 in our rich western society people still have to live rough. Shelter does a lot of good work supporting and helping people who fall into trouble.

Alternatively if you would rather support Emily's charity, she is raising for Huntington's Disease. A charity that is close to her heart personally, and equally as worthy.
