Hefty hound Bobby is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose begging behaviour has caused him to pile on the pounds over the last few years. Scoffing everything from cakes to ham, he now tips the scales at 21.1kg, making him 111% overweight.

Bobby is one of the overweight PDSA Pet Fit Club finalists, comprising 13 ‘huge hounds’, 5 ‘mega moggies’, and 3 flabby rabbits, who have been put on a strict six month diet and exercise plan by PDSA vets and nurses to help them slim down to a healthier weight and improve both their life expectancy and quality of life
