We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.

Story

Thankyou so much for your interest and visiting my fund raising website.

I volunteer at the PDSA shop in Sunderland so I am always meeting people that the PDSA have helped in the North East. Many of the people I have met who rely on the PDSA are older people with companion dogs and cats, many have no living relatives and are living on tiny pensions. Without the PDSA these people would be totally alone.

Your money will be going to help pets that need expensive veterinary treatment that their owners cannot afford.

For more information on the PDSA visit www.pdsa.org.uk .

The challenge I am taking part in is a 200km horse back trek around Mongolia in 10 days during August. For full details on this challenge please visit www.pdsa.org.uk/challenge and follow the links to the Mongolian trek details.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: PDSA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online to help me to raise money for this hard working charity.

If you are in the Sunderland area please feel free to email me on silly_lizzy@hotmail.com for information on related up coming events I am organising, such as group meals, parties, sales and many others in the next 6 months.

If you wish to help me in another way (eg I am taking donations of books etc to sell on ebay) and are from any area please do not hesitate to contact me on the same email address.

Many thanks for your support - every penny is a penny in the right direction.

*Please note that if I do not raise £1600 by 1st of June 2006 and a minimum total of £2000 by 1st August 2006 I will be unable to participate in the challenge, although ALL money raised will be forwarded to the PDSA.
