Imagine climbing 11,000 feet (over a distance of 25 miles), taking over 5,500 footsteps, interspersed with 450 miles of driving, over two days. The Pernod Ricard UK Executive Committee has decided to take on this very challenge.
On the 25 – 27 of May 2011 the intrepid Executive Committee will climb each of the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales with unlimited levels of enthusiasm and conviviality.
Starting at Fort William, they will ascend the 4,409ft to reach the summit of Ben Nevis; the UK’s highest peak. From Scotland they will be driven to Wasdale Head in the Lake District where they will make their shortest climb (a meagre 3,209ft) up Scafell Pike before the final leg of the journey, taking the Pyg Track to reach the 3,560ft summit of Snowden in Wales.
This is in aid of the Benevolent – the drinks industry charity, which supports people from the trade who have fallen on hard times. Please give generously.
Best regards,
