My story...well although it pains me to say it, I am heading out of the middle aged section of my life. Last time I mounted a bike it was to take part in the London to Brighton and that was at least 5  years ago. The full ride is 1200 miles in 14 days starting at Winchester  and ending in Gibraltar. I am completing the first leg to Bordeaux around 370 miles.

Why do it? Yes it will be a challenge for me and  my close friends will agree that a change in life style would do me good!!. However, ultimately I am riding to raise money for this charity to support a friend , in memory of lost friends and to those friends who have cancer or have had it.

Any donation will be very welcome and yes (again to close friends) if I make my target then I will shave off my beard...
