We are now raising funds towards this years visit the Children arrive on 6th June 2012, every penny helps - you can now also donate by Text thanks to Just Text Giving.

The children last year arrived in Portsmouth on the 1st June 2011 and were mainly from Osipovichi, which is in the Mogilev region near MInsk in Belarus.
The children had a wonderful time with their host families, and the Link, and had many days out. They were fortunate enough to visit the Dentist and the Optician whilst they were here also, to receive any treatment that they needed.
We are certain the children will have taken home so many happy and fond memories from this visit. Also, they were given nutritional food and drinks whilst they were here, which enhances their lives and wellbeing.
We have added some pictures to the website Gallery of the events and would like to thank our supporters for their continuing support.

The Portsmouth & Hayling Island Link (PHIL) are part of a national charity founded in 1992 by Victor Mizzi M.B.E. The Chernobyl Children’s Life Line (CCLL) raise money to support the children of Belarus and Ukraine, whose lives will be forever affected by the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, the funds raised allow the children to visit the UK for four week respite holiday, today over 45,000 children have been able to visit the UK.
