Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am very lucky that I have reached my 50th Birthday in full health and am able to celebrate this special occasion with good friends and family.

Others are not so fortunate which is why I wish you to support the Battens Disease Family Association. This particular charity is very close to my heart as Benjamin, my Godson, who suffered from Battens Disease and only passed away peacefully on Friday 20th November. He will always be in my heart.

Your gift from you to me on this special day is to donate the monies you were going to spend on tat and bad taste gifts and give it to Battens instead.  I think there will already be enough bad taste on the night!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
