The Salford Foundation Trust is a grant giving registered charity that helps children and young people aged 5-25 living in Salford to develop their hobbies, interests, skills and talents. Where limited family income is a barrier to opportunity. The Trusts main focus is the removal of those barriers.

Story

To mark the occasion of my first attempt at an iron distance triathlon (Challenge Roth in Germany on 8 July ) I thought it would be a good idea to try to raise some cash for a couple of charities to give me an additional incentive to go the distance on what’s likely to be a very long day.

The two charities I am supporting are Urban Visions Charity of the year- The Christie and the Salford Foundation Trust which is a local charity close to my heart supporting young people giving them the opportunity to do something that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to do. More details on the work of The Christie and Salford Foundation Trust can be seen on the links below.

With other fundraising events in the lead up to the 8 July myself and colleagues in the Property Team at Urban Vision are hoping to raise as much as we can that will be split between the charities and any support you can offer whoever small would be much appreciated.
