My eldest daughter Maria was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in December 2012. As a parent it is so difficult to see a child, no matter how old they are, going through treatment. Maria, her partner, our family and their friends have raised so much money for Macmillan and now it is my turn.

I have NEVER grown a beard and last had a moustache in 1976.. now for the month of November I have pledged to grow both, not shave and raise as much money as I can for Macmillan.. What ever I raise I shall double!!! now there's a challenge!
